Weekly News 26th March 2012
Last week saw two events taking place at Wheatley Park.
The first event was the annual Quiz Night organised by the Head Boy and Girl team and the PTA. The quiz was extremely well attended, very competitive and superbly organised and has raised a lot of funds for the school. The second event was the first ever Wheatley Park Futures event. Over 20 alumni spoke to our current students about a wide range of careers and university courses.
On the 16th March the Sixth Form Fashion Show took place. Students organised the whole event and raised £500 for a local charity, 'Rosy'.
As our students in Y10-13 prepare for exams next term we wish them well with their Easter revision programme.
Class of 2012
The two weeks from the start of the Summer exam season (14th May) until the year 11 leavers assembly are known as 'Countdown weeks'. During this time some GCSE exams take place alongside planned revision sessions and normal timetabled lessons. The timetable will be available shortly on the year 10 & 11 information pages of our website.
