Indoor Rowing: 2 minute challenge
On Monday 6th February we will be hosting our 6th annual indoor rowing fundraising event.
The purpose is twofold. We want our students to appreciate the health and fitness benefits of indoor rowing. This is a sport which is accessible to everyone and which is fun, motivating and accessible. We have a number of students who have competed successfully in national events on and off the water. Our school indoor rowing league is growing all the time. We also run a club every week during the Summer term which any student can join.
Indoor Rowing brings fitness benefits, but we also want to raise funds for the school.
We are asking every student to aim for a minimum of TEN POUNDS in sponsorship. The funds will go towards furnishing and equipping our school site with further outdoor play equipment which will make the school a better place for everyone.
Thank you for supporting this exciting event. We think we have found a way to promote fitness, work together as a community, raise funds for the school and support another charity.
